September 29, 2010- Yesterday was my 23rd birthday. (Besides the fact that my family forgot my birthday) I had a great day! Right when it hit midnight my wonderful husband, Jesse told me Happy Birthday =). I woke up to Owen and Jesse telling me Happy Birthday. My best friend Katie called me so that her and her sweet kids could sing happy birthday to me! (Thank you Kaden, Ryder, Brooki and Grayson!! You guys are so sweet!!) I tried to put Owen down for a nap so I could nap. That lasted about 30 minutes. Wehn I woke, I had a voicemail with Pauline (my sweet sister-in-law) singing happy birthday to me! Then my Aunt Lynn called me to wish me happy birthday! Thank you for remembering =)Owen and I hung out for a little bit then we went and had a birthday lunch with Katie, Brooki, Grayson and Ryder. It was so much fun!! Jesse has only been eating healthy food lately, so when Kaite told me to pick where I wanted to eat, I choose McDonalds!! It was sooo yummy and the kids had fun too!! Everyone wins!!
Katie dropped us off around 2 o'clock. I had talked to Jesse and he told me that he wouldn't be getting another tour until 3 o'clock, which meant he would be getting home late. I was soo bummed! When we get home, I am disppointed because I see that I had left our bedroom light on. I walk into our bedroom to turn the light off and this is what I see on the bed.
My mouth dropped open and before I could even put 2 and 2 together Jesse pops his head out of our closet. He left work early and was at home just waiting for me the whole time I was out with Katie. We put Owen down for a nap, then I opened my presents. (He was OVERLY tired)
(I have a huge list of favorite movies that I have been trying to collect) So Jesse got me 50 First Dates off my movie list, a key chain from one of my favorite books, The Hunger Games, a toy for our new puppy that we get tomorrow! a bag of my FAVORITE candy, Peanut Butter M&M's! LOVE THEM!! A beautiful single red rose (he always gets me a single red rose, I love them) He made a coupon book, and I got a card from Owen and a card from Jesse. It was perfect. The thing I loved the most was the fact that my husband got off work early and I got to spend the day with him and Owen. I was so tired and even though Jesse wasn't, he layed down with me and we took a 2 hour nap together. It was perfect =).
When we woke up from our nap we started to get ready to go out to eat. While we were getting ready my aunt called with my cousins on the phone and they sung happy birthday to me too! =) Thank you Mary-Margaret, Madelyn and Morgan. I LOVE you guys and miss you soo much!! When we were finally ready, we went to eat at Olive Garden. Owen LOVED it as much as we did! It was such a nice dinner. After dinner we had to make a quick trip to Target. Jesse got me the only Harry Potter movie that I don't have =) =). So now I have all 6 movies!! Yay!! We finally got home and decided to do cake before Owen went to sleep.
My night ended with Jesse and I watching the first Harry Potter movie. What a perfect day!!

Around 8:30 at night I finally TOLD my brother it was birthday. Then around 10:30, I called my mom and told her. It really sucks when anyone forgets your birthday but when it is your family... Like, your mom, dad and brother. It sucks even more.
So I want to say thank you to everyone that remembered, thank you so much for making my day so special! I love you all very much and I loved everything! For the ones I couldn't see, thank you for the phone calls and the songs! I loved every bit of it!! A big thanks to my best friend! Your the best Katie!!
