Sand, sand, everywhere!

The weather is finally really nice!! Jesse and I want to let Owen play outside everyday now. Only thing is, he likes to get into Grandpa and Grandma Megs rocks. Then he throws them everywhere. I caved and went to Target and I bought him a little tiny pool. Then I bought some play ground sand at Home Depot. Owen now has a place to play in when he goes outside =). He loves it! But now he throws the sand =S.

First I HAD to put this picture!! We took Owen to the park yesterday evening and Jesse took this picture! Amazing!! (do you see the sand that Owen had just thrown in the air!? His eyes are even closed because he knew what he did)
Mommy and Daddies little sand monster!

Before we let him go inside I tried to get all the sand off. This little monkey had sand on and all over his shorts, on his legs, on his arms, in his ears, in his mouth, in his HAIR! in his diaper, stuck between his toes. I don't know if there was more sand in the sandbox or on Owen! But that's what boys are for right!? =)

These pictures are from a few days ago. They are just so cute I had to put them on here =)!!

Welcome baby Mason Bartlett!!

MARCH 3, 2011--
They day has finally come!! My little brother and his girlfriend had their baby. I am an Aunt again!! I still can not believe that he is a dad now. It is pretty crazy! Mom, I know you and Katie have been wanting to see pictures so here they are.

Name: Mason John Bartlett
Date: March 3, 2011
Time: 2:51 pm
Weight: 7lbs 4oz
Length: 20 inches

Wednesday night my brother and Michelle went to the hospital so that the doctor could strip her membrane to give her a head start with labor. They stayed overnight. When I woke up the next morning I had a missed text from Nate. At 4:50am he sent me, "Her water broke." The whole morning of the 3rd she was in pain from contractions. She was dilating very fast too! They gave her an epidural when she was 3cm. A few hours later, Nate tells me that she was 5cm. Two hours, she is 8cm! About 40 minutes after that Nate tells me that she is ready to push!Being her first baby I thought I had plenty of time to get to the hospital. Since they were having the baby on base I had to wait for either my dad or step mom to get home so they could take me on base. Nate called me around 3:15pm and put Michelle's mom on the phone. I could hear crying in the background while she told me Michelle and Nate had a healthy baby boy. Michelle only had to push for 20 minutes before the baby came out! I still can't believe that!! So now, here are some more pictures of Michelle, Nate, me and Meg with baby Mason.

Last night Meg and I went down to the hospital to see the baby for the first time! =)

These are for you mom =)

Congratulations guys! I wish the best for both of you! I hope that everything works out for the best! Love you little Mason!!!

Playing catch up

I haven't done the blog in the longest time! So much has been going on though! This post is just going to be a bunch of random pictures and videos. Enjoy =)

Whenever Owen is sleepy he pulls his blanket out of his crib and just sits there with it in his mouth. I thought this was too cute.
A few days ago Owen & I went to hang out with Katie on the other side of town.Owen had a blast! It's always fun to go hang out with them! (Katie why don't we ever take more pictures? Like of us or the kids together?hmm we need too)

He was so tired on the way back. He passed out, while he was reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." Poor baby!

On the 1st of March, Owen and I wanted to take Jesse to the very cool park that Katie had shown us. It was very fun! We all had a really good time!
We saw the weirdest ducks ever. Later, my dad told us that they were swans. Still not sure if that is true. They were very strange!
They were making a really loud sound too! They were VERY brave and kept coming close to us! They freaked me out! There were 2 white ducks that followed them everywhere. It was kind of weird.

But there were also regular ducks.

Family pictures =)

This is for you Katie =)
Fun pictures!!

Look, my little baby dinosaur hatched!( we finally got the picture Katie!)

What a fun day that was!! That same day Owen had dinner earlier then everyone else. So, while Jesse, me and Nate were eating dinner, we were feeding Owen a chocolate pudding. If we took too long to feed him a spoon full, this is what he would do. Very smart little man!!
