Growing Pains =(

** THe song that is playing first is Owen's FAVORITE song. No matter how upset he is, when we play this song, he gets so happy.**

Wow, I can't believe how big Owen has gotten. He isn't the one having growing pains, I am. =( he is just growing up so fast. I love watching him go through everything, but it makes me sad that it is flying by. I've waited so long to do a post. There are A LOT of video's and pictures that I need to put on here. Just a head's up, this one is going to be long. Next time I won't wait so long. I've just been so busy with Owen and enjoying Jesse's days off. The pictures and video's are going to be kind of random but anyways, here is everything...

Owen is teething really bad right now =( so he is NOT sleeping very well. However, he is getting better. Last night he slept through the night finally. (since he's been teething, he has been waking up a couple times a night) This last week has been really tough. Mommy and daddy aren't getting much sleep. There was one day last week and I was so tired I just needed to sleep. I love my little baby for letting mommy nap but most of all, I love him for napping with me =)

Owen knows how to shake hands when meeting people. HAHA I love when him and Jesse do this.

LAST NIGHT--

Owen just LOVES to spit now. I was in the kitchen cleaning and Jesse was recording Owen.

Happy baby

Last night Jesse fed Owen while I was cooking dinner. I was paying attention to what I was doing and I heard Owen laughing (which we can't ever get Owen to laugh). I looked at him and Jesse and this is what I saw.

I was on the phone with Pauline and I was telling her how much Owen loved Mickey and smiled so much when he saw him.I decided to play Mickey on the laptop and record his reaction. (he normally smiles a lot bigger for Mickey)

Valentine's Day

Mommy put Owen down for a nap and when she came downstairs daddy had all of this waiting for her...

Later that night when daddy was watching the All-Star game, mommy did this for him.



I made Manicotti and garlic bread. We had Pepsi and Apple Cider to drink.

We all had the best Valentine's Day. =) I didn't expect Jesse to get me anything since money is pretty tight lately...but he got me 2 cards, balloons, 3 cupcakes from the best place in the world- the Cupcakery and a single rose. Owen even got mommy a card and a box of candy hearts. I loved everything he did. He knows that I'm not the kind of girl that needs material stuff to make me happy. Everything was perfect! I love my family!!

Owen and mommy took a trip down to Grandpa's house on the 13th. Grandma Meg proved that all babies need to make them hapy are simple things. Like, a melon =)

SOILD FOODS =)

On Feb 13th Jesse took the day off of work & we started Owen on soild foods!! He had his first taste of Rice Cereal! Here is the video.

It is amazing to look back and see how much Owen has grown up. Jesse and I were up until 1am just looking at old pictures and watching old video's of him. Look how grown up my little man is. This is Jesse feeding Owen for the VERY first time. Owen was just a day old.
